Issue with meshes

When I imported my first object into unreal, all my assets separated into their separate parts, as in all the spheres would superset, each cube etc. After discussing the issue with my group, I was told this was an issue with my meshes being separate when exporting out of Maya, so after combining the meshes this was no longer an issue.

Week 12 Feedback

During our last presentation I received various feedback. Firstly, it was to fix the lighting, so I added an outside ‘natural’ light source as well as an internal light. Secondly, I was advised to add a skirting board to the room, which I did using a simple rectangle and a wood texture already imported, so it would match the room and not be yet another colour of wood. I was also advised that the room looked quite bare, which I understand, but will become much more filled when I add my individual idea, as my individual idea requires more assets.
