Self Reflection
Then it was time for groups to change places and find their final group. I feel happy to meet other individuals with the same creativity as mine whilst having a positive mindset as it brings positivity and a connection to the group.
It’s Character Development and we are introduced to Character templates, Character Design steps, Initiative Creative Considerations, Animate-ability, reference and the dos and don’ts of character design.
Character Development however is majorly important as a ‘character drives a story and breathes life into a film’ Quote by the Pixar Film Industry.
Therefore as a team, we had to create a character design template as well as our own creations. For me, I have made a character called ‘Mushroom Baby’ that mimics the main character’s childhood/his offspring as now I have difficulty figuring out the character’s concept. Ultimately, I have made 3 coloured concept designs, animation physic motions as well as Mushroom Baby’s frontal, side and back profiles. I thought these turned out well but I would have liked more time to make more as I thought I had less than I should have.
