International Report Highlights Role of Education in Peace Building

This week UNICEF published the findings of a study led by Professor Alan Smith at the UNESCO Centre in the University of Ulster highlighting the positive role of education in peace-building in post conflict societies around the world. The study was commissioned by UNICEF’s Education Section as part of its Education in Emergencies and Post-Crisis Transition Programme and managed by the Evaluation Office. Continue reading

First Children and Youth Programme Advisory Board meeting to take place Tuesday 1st February, 2011
