This week we looked at illustrating our interfaces. He gave us a quick overview. For this week we would continue our Initial Sketches/wireframes for an app. Paul mentioned in Week 6 we will have a group Critique session were we can give each other feedback on our designs. In this PowerPoint we covered interfaces and how to illustrate them with some helpful sketching tips. Practicing your designs makes perfect. We looked further into different types of illustrations such as Mascots and characters, Thematic, Icons, diagrammatic, data visualization, hype realistic, simple vectors, hand drawn illustrations.
He mentioned the importance of workflow looking at Google images, Flickr, dribble, stumbleupon, books and blogs for further inspiration.
