British National Formulary and British National Formulary for Children has moved to a new platform. New and existing users will have to register for a new account to access the service.

To register, follow the steps below:

‘I am a UK-based individual undertaking work (or training) for or on behalf of the NHS or an NHS organisation’

  • Accept the MedicinesComplete terms and conditions by ticking the box

‘I am purchasing a single-user subscription for these publications and agree to the MedicinesComplete Terms and Conditions

  • Click the ‘Proceed’ to checkout button
  • At this stage you ‘Register now’ and complete your details (only use ‘Sign in’ once you have registered)
  • Click ‘Proceed
  • The next page Confirm Details, if it shows your correct email and the Subscriptions BNF and BNFC at zero value, click ‘Proceed
  • You will be sent an email – It is essential that you click the link and create your account, otherwise you will not be able to access your subscription

If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam filter.
