Mood board
During this weeks lecture we were given the task of creating a monogram mood board. I made mine on Pinterest. I tried to pick examples of type that were cool and interesting but also I’m a big fan k-pop and majority of k-pop groups/artists have their own unique monograms so I included some that came to mind in my mood board as well.

I’m gonna try to keep adding to it as I continue to figure out the design of my monogram.
Monogram Sketches
This week we were also asked to begin sketching out some monogram ideas.
Here are my initial sketches:
Out of these sketches I think the ones I’m drawn to the most are the top-right on the first page and the bottom-right on the second page both with the L acting ass the crossbar of the F, also the middle left one on the second page. I think I’ll try continuing with those ideas further until I can make a final decision of which one to go with. I’m not sure if I should include a B for my middle name since there are an awful lot of Laura Foy’s out there. Then again I could just make it my life’s goal to become the top search result for the name so I think I’ll just leave it as is. The B would mess with what I’ve got here anyway.
