I set myself a small challenge to improve and enhance my design skills, I chose a few app icons that I liked the look of and challenged myself to recreate that on Adobe XD. Heres how it went, my recreations are on the right hand side.
What did I learn?
I know now that my skills are gradually getting better and better every time I design a new project, practise makes perfect. Adobe XD allows me to do more effects and actions than I even realised, this was a great exercise to enhance my skills and make me a better designer! I still have a long way to go but I will definitely be doing more exercises like this in the near future.
